SEPPELT FOUNDATION RANGE Jaluka Henty Chardonnay (case of 6)

Seppelt has been at the forefront of Australian winemaking for over 160 years with achievements that include producing Australia's first sparkling wine and pioneering the iconic sparkling Shiraz. 

Today Senior Winemaker Adam Carnaby leads a passionate winemaking team with access to some of Australia's finest cool-climate regions including Grampians, Henty, Heathcote and Bendigo. 

Jaluka Chardonnay is expressive of the cool, maritime climate of the Henty region.  Traditional winemaking and gentle handling ensures that this wine captures the region's unique characteristics.

Aromas

Aromas of white flowers, roasted nuts and grapefruit pith complemented by flinty barrel ferment characters.

Flavours and Palate

On the palate, vibrant and intense fruit weight is balanced out with zingy, crunchy acidity and nutty oak. The balanced combination of lees texture and mineral structure adds layers of complexity to the palate.
